Book Giveaway!
I’m randomly giving away free books every week or so. All you have to do is ask.
Here you will find a collection of odd essays, an occasional story and a little information about writing Science Fiction.

Shameless Self Promotion:I am currently lobbying to get my story The Nigerian Soul nominated for a Hugo (fat chance). This is more experimental than anything else, and even if I did by some odd stroke of luck get nominated, there is no chance that I would win. If you attended last year’s Worldcon, or are a member of this year’s worldcon, please consider making The Nigerian Soul, by Keith P. Graham, your fifth choice in the short story category. Why would you want to do this? The way I see it, the Hugos are dominated by the pro magazines, but the small press and webzines have 1000 times as many readers. The audience for small sites is fragmented and each site has a small loyal audience. Outsider Science fiction has more interesting stories, better writing and is much more diverse than the standard old school stuff in the prozines. You could vote for your favorite story at your favorite zine, but the story would never be nominated. A vote for The Nigerian Soul is a chance to unify behind outsider SF. Bring simple order to chaos and make The Nigerian Soul your fifth choice on the ballot. Your kind consideration is appreciated. |
